Caleb Fields Signs With Jaén Club Baloncesto

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield University Men's Basketball alum Caleb Fields has signed a contract with Jaén Club Baloncesto in Spain. Fields is in his second season of professional basketball following a standout two-year career with the Stags.

Jaén competes in the third tier of Spanish basketball – one of the most competitive systems in the world – the Segunda FEB. Fields began his first season as a pro with Obras Sanitarias in Liga Nacional de Básquetbol, the top-tier league in the Argentine basketball system, and most recently suited up for CB Clavijo in Spain's second division league, Primera FEB.

Fields joined the professional ranks coming off of one of the most prolific scoring seasons in the history of Fairfield Basketball in 2023-24. His 592 points were the sixth most by a Stag in program history, and he set a new program standard with 113 three-pointers. He averaged a team-leading 16.9 points per game en route to NABC All-District Second Team, All-Met Third Team, All-MAAC Second Team and MAAC All-Championship Team laurels. Fields was also named the Fairfield University Men's co-Athlete of the Year after leading the Stags to 24 victories and a berth in the MAAC Championship Game.

After completing an undergraduate degree at Bowling Green State University, Fields played two seasons as a graduate student for the Stags. He racked up 931 points at Fairfield and ranks seventh in program history with 163 made three-pointers. He tied the program's single-game record on January 7, 2024 with 10 three-pointers (also a Mahoney Arena record) en route to a career-best 33 points in a home win over Marist. Between Fairfield and Bowling Green, Fields scored 1,434 career points. He graduated with an MBA from Fairfield in May of 2024.
