EDISON, N.J. – Following his third-place finish for Fairfield University Men's Cross Country at the Marist Season Opener, Ryan Lindley has been named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Runner of the Week.
 
Lindley crossed the finish line in third place, completing the 6K course at the Preserve at Vassar in 19:38.8. He is Fairfield's first MAAC Men's Runner of the Week since Sam Daly '17 earned the award for the third and final time in his career on Sept. 28, 2016.
 
Fairfield Men's Cross Country is back in action on Saturday, Sept. 13 at the Jasper Fall Invite. The meet will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, N.Y., which will also play host to the 2025 MAAC Championship on Saturday, Nov. 1.
