ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Fairfield University swimming and diving teams completed their second day at the ECAC Championships with the men positioning themselves in the fifth place and the women standing sixth in the team standings.The women brought their score to 163 points while men improved their standing and score with 171 points. 

The 200 medley relay started the day for both squads with the women finishing second by clocking in at 1:42.97 while the men took sixth place with a time of 1:29.96. The women were represented by Lauren Patalano, Tone Sandsjo, Lara Kisakol, and Holly Rahurahu. The men's foursome included Max McMillan, Enrique Garcia, Tim Regan, and Oliver McLaughlin.

Ella Lepis represented Fairfield in the 400 IM and secured ninth place based on her time of 4:46.26. Joey Nizzardo grabbed third place in the B final by touching the wall in 4:18.60. Tim Regan followed by scoring in the 100 fly, taking second in the B final by completing the distance in 49.05.

Joseph Stewart gathered a fourth-place overall in the 200 free after finishing in 1:38.15. Tone Sandsjo also made the A final in the 100 breast, ending the event in 1:01.58. Cailey Stockwell also competed in the event, posting a time of 1:05.26 for seventh in the B final. Enrique Garcia also secured a slot in the B final, taking second after completing the distance in 55.40.

Rahurahu was next in the pool as a competitor in the 100 back, garnering third after clocking in 56.90. Jay Parente was the men's team top finisher in this event, taking eighth in the A final while Oliver McLaughlin (50.56) and Aidan Schnapf (50.63) were third and fourth in the B final.

The championship returned to relay competition with the two teams taking on the 800 free relay. Stockwell, Olivia Glaser, Abbie Digregorio, and Lepis combined for a fifth place finish in the 7:48.34. On the men's side, Ryan Woodzell, McMillan, Jack Behm, and Aidan Schnapf came together for sixth-place swim in 6:53.90.
