Sean Albritton earned the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Offensive Player and Rookie of the Week awards following his performance against Sacred Heart earlier this week. The freshman garnered the rookie of the week award for the third time and the offensive player of the week for the first time.
Albritton scored a pair of goals in Fairfield's 2-2 draw with Sacred Heart University. He opened the scoring in the 11th minute to put the Stags in front 1-0. With Fairfield trailing by a 2-1 score, He tied the game with his second goal which came in the 77th minute. He connected on two of his five shots in the match.
For the season, Albritton paces the Fairfield offense with seven goals which includes three game-winning scores. He currently ranks third in the MAAC for goal scoring, averaging 0.58 goals per game. He also places third in the conference for game-winning goals as well as for points per game with 1.17 (14 points in 12 appearances).Â

Krystian Witkowski, will open play in the 2025 MAAC Championship on Sunday when the team hosts Niagara University. The game takes place at Lessing Field on the Fairfield campus and begins at 1 pm.
