The Fairfield University men's and women's swimming and diving teams swept their respective dual meet this afternoon against Providence College. The men's team picked up a 208-91 win while the women's program collected a 183-117 victory on the road.

Natasha De Pree won three individual events and was part of the winning 200 free relay along with Ayva Christie, Rylie Bauman, and Allie Bashor (1:50.34). De Pree secured the best time in the 200 free (2:08.41), the 100 free (59.74), and 400 free (4:30.85).

Olivia Glaser secured a pair of victories during the afternoon, touching the wall first in the 200 fly (1:26.96) and the 400 IM (5:09.62). Tone Sandsjo also picked up a pair of wins in the 100 breast (1:12.10) and the 200 breast (2:42.52). On the men's side,
Aidan Schnapf was a multiple winner during the meet, winning the 800 free (8:49.08) and the 200 back (2:09.36).
Andrew Cataldo won both of his 1-meter events, posting 209.03 points in his first 1-meter event and following with 229.53 points in the second 1-meter event.

With the help of De Pree, Glaser, and Schnapf, the Fairfield University men's and women's swimming and diving teams won 21 of the individual events as well as both relay events.

Both teams swept one event with the women taking all three spots on the podium for the 50 free and the men garnering the three best times in the 400 IM. Ryle Bauman (27.59), Isla Bartholomew (27.89), and Ayva Christie (28.01) comprised the 50 free finish while
Jack Behm (4:36.32),
Will Landon (4:41.06), and
Bobby Regan (4:41.37) comprised the 400 IM placements.

The Stags also had student-athletes win a single event contributing to the team's victory. Sofia Smerechniak grabbed the first spot in the 800 free by finishing the distance in 9:24.27. Rylie Bauman touched the wall first in the 50 free by clocking in at 27.59 while Katie Torrey had the best time in the 200 back at 2:19.93. Allie Bashor rounded out the individual winners with her performance in the 100 fly (1:03.79).
