FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield University Men's Basketball Head Coach
Chris Casey has announced the addition of Noah Best to the Stags for the 2024-25 season. Best, who competed in the Atlantic-10 Conference last season at Fordham University, comes to Fairfield with three years of eligibility remaining.
Best spent two seasons at Fordham – under the direction of Fairfield alum Keith Urgo – where he served a redshirt season in 2022-23 and appeared in eight games for the Rams this past winter. Best was a three-star recruit out of Mount Saint Michael Academy in the Bronx, where he averaged a team-leading 19.1 points per game as a senior and was ranked as a top-five shooting guard in the state of New York.
"At 6-5, Noah is a long, athletic guard who can score at the rim and the perimeter,' said Casey. "He can also defend multiple positions and contribute to our rebounding efforts."
Best joins a Fairfield team that posted a 24-13 record in 2023-24, reaching the MAAC Championship Game and the semifinals of the CBI.
