Fairfield, CONN.- Head Swimming and Diving Coach Jacy Dyer is resigning from her position at Fairfield to accept the Women's Swimming and Diving Head Coach position at her alma mater, the University of Toledo. Dyer, who graduated from Toledo in 2011, was inducted into the Toledo Athletics Hall of Fame in 2017.

"I would like to thank Coach Dyer for her leadership of our men's and women's swimming and diving programs for the past two seasons," said Vice President for Athletics Paul Schlickmann. "Both programs are poised for continued progression and success. We wish her the best in this next phase of her professional journey."

During her time at Fairfield, Dyer has won two MAAC Coach of the Year awards, leading the women's swimming and diving team to the 2022 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship. Five of her student-athletes garnered major awards at this year's MAAC Championship. Her student-athletes have also had great success in the classroom, garnering eight CSC Academic All-District awards and more than 60 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Academic accolades.

"It has been an incredible opportunity to lead the men's and women's swimming and diving program. I am so grateful I was able to coach these amazing young men and women and they have made the past two years unforgettable. I'm so proud of this team and I can't wait to see what they do in the future."

A national search for the Head Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Coach position will begin immediately. Fairfield has retained executive search firm TurnkeyZRG to assist with the process.
