FAIRFIELD, Conn. – On the heels of the program's first-ever win over a nationally-ranked opponent, Fairfield University Women's Lacrosse welcomes another top-25 foe on Saturday in #23/23 UAlbany. Opening draw from Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium is set for 1 p.m. Admission is free for all fans to all women's lacrosse regular season home games this season.
 
The Fairfield University Stags (1-1, 0-0 MAAC)

• The Stags leveled their record at 1-1 with an 11-9 win over #24/24 UConn on Wednesday
• The win was Fairfield's first over an IWLCA nationally-ranked opponent
• The victory also tied Head Coach Laura Field for the program's all-time lead at 92, matching her predecessor Mike Waldvogel
• Grace Slater led the attack against the Huskies with four goals and an assist
• On the season, the trio of Slater, Amanda Kozak and Elizabeth Talluto share the team lead with seven points apiece

 
The #23/23 University at Albany Great Danes (0-2, 0-0 America East)

• UAlbany is 0-2 on the young season with losses to #14 Johns Hopkins and #2 Boston College on the ledger
• Katie Pascale leads the Danes with nine points (3 goals, 6 assists) and Grace McCauley has scored a team-best five goals
• The reigning America East Champions were 13-7 last season, advancing to the NCAA Championship Second Round via a win over Virginia
• UAlbany is the unanimous pick to repeat as America East Champ
• Pascale is an Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-America Honorable Mention
