FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The reigning Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Champions, Fairfield University Women's Basketball team has announced their 2025 recruiting class, comprising of three members who have signed their National Letters of Intent to join the Stags next season. Christina Pham, Keyarah Gregory, and Milou van Vliet have all signed on to "Run with the Stags" in continuing the goal to become one of the best mid-major programs in the country.
"We are so excited about our 2025 signing class," Head Coach
Carly Thibault-DuDonis said. "We prioritized addressing several needs and feel like we hit on them all. From scoring to passing to defending to versatility, this class sets us up to continue to be in the national conversation in women's basketball and compete at the highest level. We are even more excited about the character and people we are bringing into our Fairfield family!"
Christina Pham | 5-7 | Guard | Noble and Greenough School
Pham helped the Noble and Greenough School to three NEPSAC Championships while netting over 1,000 career points for the Lady Bulldogs. One of the most elite 3-point shooters in the state, Pham was a three-time All-Conference First Team honoree and a three-time selection to the All-ISL squad. She also won the 2023
A Shot For Life Championship while hitting 84 percent of her 3-pointers in the event.
Coach Carly on Pham: Christina is a three-level scorer with an incredible ability to shoot the ball with deep range. Her offensive versatility will allow her to thrive in our 5 out offense where she can be effective both on and off the ball. I was immediately drawn to her competitive edge since the very first time I watched her play, and knew I wanted to coach her!
Keyarah Gregory | 5-3 | Guard | Fort Erie International Academy
Gregory will be the second current Stag hailing from Canada after playing for Fort Erie International Academy and the Become One program. She was a two-time Biosteel All-Canadian MVP and also earned Team Ontario First Team All-Star honors in 2022. In the Become One program, she led the team in: points (123), assists (41), and steals (32) in her 12 games played.
Coach Carly on Gregory: Keyarah is a dynamic point guard who possesses great vision and will fit naturally into our up-tempo pace with space to create for her Stag teammates. She has grown her game so much in the last few years and has a maturity that is going to serve her very well both on and off the court. I know KG will bring a confidence and work ethic that will immediately enhance our team culture.
Milou van Vliet | 6-0 | Guard | Orange Lions Academy
Milou van Vliet was a five-time member of the Dutch National team, helping the squad to the U20 European Championship this season. Competing in the FIBA U18 EuroBasket Division, van Vliet averaged 11.6 points and 8.7 rebounds, ranking sixth in the division. She tallied a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds against Great Britain in the Group Stage. She was also a EGBL MVP in 2022 and captained her Dutch National team for two campaigns.
Coach Carly on van Vliet: We love Milou's versatility, as she is capable of scoring all over the floor and defending multiple positions. Her length as a big guard and basketball IQ make her a mismatch nightmare for opponents, as she is willing to consistently make the best play for her team, whether it is scoring or make the right pass to a teammate. Her poise, drive, and intentionality will set her up for immediate success at Fairfield!
The trio will join a Stags program that was the unanimous pick to finish atop of the MAAC in the preseason after enjoying an historic 2023-24 championship season. The Stags entered the week receiving votes in both the AP and USA Today Coaches Top-25 poll, while also placing in the top-10 in the College Insider Mid-Major poll.
