BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Two weeks since their last meet, Fairfield University Women's Cross Country hit the trail Saturday afternoon for the Paul Short Run on the Goodman Campus Course at Lehigh University. First-year Stag 
Mia Strazzella picked up right where she left off, crossing the 6k finish line first with a time of 23:42.2. 
 
Fellow rookie 
Natalie Haracz was the next harrier to finish the 6k course for the Stags with a time of 24:08.7. If two rookies weren't enough, 
Isabella Colabatistto made it three for three for the top Stag runners, finishing at 25:04.1. 
 
Senior captains 
Catherine Lanahan and 
Emily Dalla Riva were the next pack of Stags to cross the line, finishing the 6k course with times of 25:14.5 and 25:16.7, respectively. 
Megan Furlong went on to run 25:28.7 for the Stags. Behind her, 
Claire Mason finished with a time of 25:52.6, and 
Michaela Kenny ran the 6k course in 26:08.1. 
 
As a team, the Stags placed 39th in a jam-packed Paul Short field. NYU finished as the top team with four runners in the top 20. VCU first-year harrier Lauren Tunnell crossed the line first, running the 6k course with a time of 21:11.0. 
 
Up next, the Stags travel to Boston for the New England Championship at Franklin Park Saturday, Oct. 7.
