FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield University softball team announced that its weekend slate of five games being played at the University of Kansas have been canceled due to an inclement weather forecast. The five-game slate was to include the University of Nebraska, University of Tulsa, University of Missouri-Kansas City, and the host school.
The schedule keeps Fairfield local for the remainder of the season beginning next week with two games with in the State of Connecticut. The Stags open the week with a single game Central Connecticut State University on March 22 followed by a single game at Sacred Heart University on March 23.
