FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield University field hockey team plays a Northeast Conference (NEC) match and a non-conference game this weekend, traveling to Saint Francis University on Friday afternoon before hosting Quinnipiac University on Sunday afternoon.
The Stags are coming off an 8-1 win against Merrimack College last weekend which represented the most goals scored by Fairfield in a game this season. Five different Stags scored in the game with Emma

Rahn made four saves in the game, giving one goal in the first quarter but kicking away all other attempts by the opponent.
Freshman
Alex Senior also tallied her first multiple goal match with her two goals, giving the forward three goals on the season.
Radebaugh scored her first goals of the season against the Warriors and has six points on the season. Nora
Amme picked up a goal and an assist against Merrimack which gives her 12 points on the season with three goals and six assists.
Rahn has 64 saves in her 12 starts this season for a .703 save percentage and ranks 25th in the nation with her 5.33 saves per game.
Saint Francis enters this match with a 4-9 overall record and a 2-1 NEC mark which matches its second best start in conference play. The team comes off a 3-2 win against LIU behind a pair of goals from Eva
Valentini and three assists from
Doroles Zavaleta.
Valentini's performance capped a highly successful week during which she posted three goals and one assist for seven points. Goalkeeper Chloe South made four saves in the match, making one stop in each of the four quarters.
Valentini paces the offense with 10 goals and four assists for 24 points, averaging just under two points per match played, and has a pair of defensive saves which represents a team-high.
Zavaleta (two goals, four assists) joins Madison
Waldspurger (four goals) are tied for second among their teammates with eight points each. South enters the match with a 1.92 goals against average and a .732 save percentage) playing in 13 matches played.
Quinnipiac brings a 4-9 overall record and an 0-4 mark in the Big East into Sunday's match, coming off a pair of 4-1 losses to #12
