FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield University field hockey team added a game to its spring schedule, hosting Sacred Heart University on Saturday, April 17. The Stags will honor their senior class prior to the game with an on-field ceremony.
Fairfield will play for the first time since hosting Bryant University on April 3, a match which the Stags won by a 3-0 score. The team brings a 4-2 overall record into Saturday's action after starting the season with three straight victories. The start included two non-conference wins over Albany and
Hofstra before the Stags began Northeast Conference (NEC) play with a win over the Pioneers on March 18. Emma
Matlach converted a pass from

Zoe Rosen made the save off that attempt which helped lower her goals against average to 0.61 in her six appearances. The senior has 18 saves to her credit and has yielded just four goals in nearly 400 minutes of work.
