FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield University Athletics has hired
Taylor Leonard as Associate Director of Athletics/Compliance and Student Services. Leonard most recently served in a similar role at the College of the Holy Cross since September of 2018.
At Fairfield, Leonard will manage NCAA compliance for the Stags' 20 varsity sports and over 450 student-athletes. She will serve as department liaison to campus offices including Admissions, Financial Aid, Residence Life and Student Affairs/Student Conduct. As a member of the department's senior leadership team, Leonard will also serve as a sport administrator for select sports.

Leonard served as Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance at Holy Cross. In her three years in Worcester, she was the Crusaders' primary resource for all aspect of NCAA and Patriot League compliance. Leonard also held supervisory responsibilities for the men's lacrosse, women's soccer, and men's and women's golf programs.
Leonard was previously the Assistant Director of Compliance at the University of Rhode Island and began her career as a graduate assistant in the compliance office at Bryant University.
She graduated from Bryant in 2015 with a degree in Business Administration and earned an MBA from the University in 2017. She also served as head manager of the Bulldogs' men's basketball team as an undergraduate.
