FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield University softball team will have to wait one more day to start its season as snow and cold temperatures have forced the postponement of today's games at the UNC-Greensboro Invitational. The Stags were scheduled to play Purdue University and the host school today.  Fairfield will play Saturday's games as scheduled which includes a matchup with the University of North Carolina at noon followed by a 5 pm game against UNC-Greensboro. The Stags will make up their game against Purdue by turning Sunday's single game into a doubleheader with the Boilermakers. The two Sunday games have start times of 10 am and 12:30 pm.
