FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield University Women's Basketball team will begin their 2020-21 season on Thursday as the program has announced a Thursday afternoon contest against UMass at the George Bisacca Court at Alumni Hall. The season opener, which will be held without media and fans, will tip-off at 5 p.m.
 
This contest was announced after a cancelation with Sacred Heart last week, as a result of a positive Covid-19 test among Sacred Heart's Tier 1 personnel.
