Reynolds, Conquest Collect MAAC Weekly Honors
After shutting down a pair of MAAC opponents in two leagues win this past week, Fairfield has earned two of MAAC weekly awards. Maggie Reynolds was selected as the MAAC Defensive Player of the Week, and Olivia Conquest was named the MAAC Rookie of the Week.

On Wednesday, Reynolds started on a backline that held Manhattan to six goals in a 14-6 victory on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium. She collected three ground balls with three caused turnovers and did her part to keep the Stags on the attack with five draw controls. She followed up on Saturday by helping to limit Marist to nine goals – three days after the Red Foxes buried 19 markers in a win over Canisius – with two ground balls, a caused turnover and two draw controls.

Conquest was solid in the cage in the wins over both Manhattan and Marist. She made seven stops against the Jaspers and turned away nine Marist offerings. The rookie has played all 720 minutes in goal for the Stags this season.

In total, the Fairfield defensive effort ceded just 15 total goals to the Jaspers and Red Foxes. The Stags pressured their opponents into 38 turnovers and held a convincing 48-31 advantage in ground balls.

Scouting Monmouth
The Stags' defense will be tested on Wednesday by the MAAC highest-scoring offense when the Hawks come to Rafferty Stadium. Monmouth currently averages 12.92 goals per game. That effort is led by Nicole Ceraso, who leads the MAAC with 28 assists and 56 total points. Allison Turturro is the Hawks' top goal scorer with 34 markers this spring.

Riley Brager has started all 13 games in the cage for Monmouth, totaling 706:33 of action. She currently owns a 10.87 goals-against average and a .441 save percentage with 128 goals allowed and 101 saves.

The all-time series dates back to Fairfield's first varsity season of 1997, with the Stags holding an 11-7 advantage. Fairfield has won three of the five MAAC regular season meetings with Monmouth (2014-18) and defeated the Hawks on a neutral field in the semifinal round of both of their recent MAAC Championship runs in 2015 and 2018.

On the Air
All of the action will be broadcast by the Stags Sports Network on ESPN3 with J.J. Duke and Meghan Robinson on the call.
