FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield University Women's Lacrosse begins the final week of the regular season on Wednesday afternoon with a visit from Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) foe Iona. Opening draw on Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium is slated for 3 p.m.
Â
Winners of their last seven games, the Stags are 6-0 in the MAAC with an 11-3 overall record. Fairfield can clinch at least a share of the MAAC Regular Season Championship with a win in either of its last two games or with a Manhattan loss in either of the Jaspers' final two contests (at Monmouth, at Niagara). The Stags hold all relevant tiebreakers against the top half of the conference standings and would be the top seed and host of the MAAC Championship with a victory on Wednesday.
