WEST POINT, N.Y. – Fairfield men's tennis started out well in Doubles but could not tally a win in Singles competition eventually falling to Army West Point by score of 4-0. 
 
In Doubles competition, Allan Magid and Jeffrey Rodgers took down David Mitchell and David Gorshein 6-4 in #2 Doubles. 
 
The Stags battled in Singles competition but could not pick up a win to keep them in the match. 
 
"We played a good doubles point but came up a bit short. In singles we played with no energy and it showed in the results. Pretty disappointing effort today. We will get back to the drawing board for next weekend."
 
Fairfield will return to action on Saturday, March 9 at 9 A.M. as they host Marist at the Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center in New Haven.
