FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield University Women's Lacrosse returns home to Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium on Sunday, March 3 looking to shake off a two-game losing streak with a noon visit from New Hampshire.

Parking for fans is available on a first come, first served basis. Fans may be directed by Public Safety personnel to designated parking areas. Fans are asked to observe all parking signs as they relate to handicapped, reserved or restricted parking.

Please note that the Walsh Athletic Center/Rafferty Stadium parking lot is closed to the general public during men's and women's lacrosse home games. Tailgating is limited to the Loyola gravel lot (Fairfield) and the Dolan East lot on Mooney Road (New Hampshire). Tailgating activities are prohibited in all other academic and residential parking lots and in the Kelley Center parking garage.

Consistent with the Athletic Department Policy, alcohol is NOT permitted inside Rafferty Stadium. The athletic departmentÂ
strongly discourages the consumption of alcohol at tailgate events while in the presence of student athletes, both pregame and postgame and regardless of age. In accordance with Connecticut State Law, there shall beÂ
NO UNDERAGE DRINKING. Tailgate lots will be monitored by security and policies will be enforced.
Handicapped parking is available in all lots for those with proper permits on a first come, first served basis. Those in need of additional assistance are encouraged to contact Fairfield Athletics at 203-254-4000 ext. 2208 to ensure that proper accommodations are met.

The follow items are not permitted inside Rafferty Stadium:
• Alcohol of any kind
• Outside food and drink
• Glass bottles, cans, frozen drinks, coolers, thermoses or ice chests
• Seat cushions measuring larger than 18" and contain zippers, pockets or concealable areas
• Any animal with the exception of a service animal (must provide certification upon request)
• Weapons (including knives), any item that may be used as a projectile or one that is deemed dangerous by Stadium management
• Any other item deemed inappropriate by Stadium management

Fairfield University Women's Lacrosse was on the short side of a 16-5 decision in non-conference action at Boston University on Wednesday afternoon. Three of the Stags' goals came from
Taylor Mitchell post her fourth multi-goal outing of the season.

Jillian Winwood added a pair of tallies to boost her total to 12 markers in 2019.
Meaghan Graham notched a pair of assists on the day, and
Kelly Gordon doled out one helper.

Scouting New Hampshire
The New Hampshire Wildcats are spending the weekend in Connecticut, traveling to Fairfield on Sunday following a 16-4 victory at CCSU on Friday to improve to 3-1 on the season. The Wildcats also own wins over Sacred Heart (16-5) and UConn (13-12) with their lone setback coming in their season opener at Harvard, 14-6.
Four Wildcats have posted double-digit points thus far in 2019> Catherine Sexton leads the effort with 11 goals and five assists. Mickenzie Larivee – previously a three-year starter at Boston University – and Devan Miller have each posted 12 points and Rylee Leonard adds 10.
In the cage, Issy Torres boasts a 9.63 goals-against average and a .535 save percentage with 38 stops and 33 goals allowed.
All-Time Series
Wins in each of the last seasons have pushed the Stags in front, 6-5, in the all-time series with the Wildcats. He Stags have won six of the last seven meetings after beginning the series with four consecutive losses to UNH. During their current three-game streak, Fairfield is outscoring the Wildcats, 41-20.
Up Next
Sunday's game is the start of a three-game homestand for Fairfield. The Stags will also host #7/9 Denver on March 8 and Sacred Heart on March 20 as a part of the three-game residency at Rafferty Stadium.
