FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The potential for rain this weekend caused changes to the 2019 Campbell Stampede tournament schedule which will affect the Fairfield University softball team. The Stags will play four games at the tournament with the first game slated for Saturday, February 23, one day after they were supposed to open the tournament.

Fairfield will play host Campbell on Saturday night with the game scheduled for 7:30 pm first pitch. On Sunday, the Stags will play a pair of games against two different teams, beginning with Oakland University at noon. Fairfield will play its second game at 2:30 pm that afternoon with La Salle University serving as the opponent. The team will complete its four-game schedule on Monday morning with another match up against host Campbell University. The game is scheduled for 10 am.
