EAST HARTFORD, Conn. – Fairfield Men's Tennis held their own against UConn this evening but could not comeback against the Huskies ultimately falling by a score of 2-4. 
 
Tyler Shibles picked up a win in #2 Singles as he took down John Michael Holtmann (6-3, 6-3).  Lewis Edwards also won at #1 Singles defeating Yili Zheng by a score of (7-6, 6-4). 
 
"We played much better tonight and showed a lot of fight" said Head Coach Jeff Bricker. "The message has been "improve everyday", and we showed a lot of improvement from last match. We still have a lot of work to do in Doubles, but we might get some reinforcements back next weekend from the injured list. It was a great effort tonight."
 
The Stags will have a quick turnaround as they host Boston University tomorrow at 12:30 P.M.
