The Stags dropped the Doubles point but picked up their two wins in Singles play.
Jessica Pil won in #5 Singles as Gabriella Tenorio retired in the second set.
Emily Lombardi also defeated Downer in #6 Singles by a score of 6-1, 6-3.
"Overall, I'm happy with our progress from last weekend's matches to today" said Head Coach
Jeff Bricker. "We looked a lot sharper in Singles and we had some chances to get a little closer. These early matches will hopefully propel us where we want to be down the road in March and April."
