WEST WINDSOR, N.J. -- The varsity 4 crew competed today in the second day of the IRA Championships at Mercer Lake, taking a fourth-place finish in the semifinals. The varsity 4 boat will advance to the 4th Level Final on Sunday with the race scheduled for 10:18 AM. The lightweight 4 crew will also row on Sunday with its Petite Final race set to start at 9:50 am.
Today, the varsity 4 crossed the finish line in 6:55.90 for a fourth-place finish, ahead of the University of Pennsylvania which ran the course in 7:04.08. The semifinal was won by Cornell University (6:42.47) followed by Jacksonville University (6:45.01) and Marist College (6:52.08). The result put the Stags in the 4th Level Final along with Milwaukee SE, Syracuse University, and the University of Pennsylvania.The Stags were represented byÂ
