WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – Fairfield women's tennis fell to Niagara this afternoon in a tough 6-1 loss in their second MAAC contest of the year and first conference match of the spring season. 
 
The Stags battled hard in Doubles competition but could not garner a win with Anna Komer and Diana Prinos falling (7-6 (5)) in #2 Doubles while Emily Lombardi and Sarah Stuhlmann were defeated (7-5) in # 1 Doubles. 
 
Jessica Pil defeated Ali Hutchinson at #4 Singles (6-2, 6-4) to account for the Stags' lone point of the day.
 
The Stags will return to action in their first match at the Walsh Athletic Center Tennis Courts this spring as they take on MAAC opponent Saint Peter's on Monday at 3 P.M.
