The men's varsity 4 picked up a first-place finish to pace the Fairfield University men's rowing team at the annual Spring Metropolitan Rowing Regatta. Three other Fairfield entries reached the top three in their respective events as well, highlighted by a second-place run by the men's lightweight 4.
The varsity 4 race showcased two entries with the varsity 4 posting a time of 7:45.01 to win its heat over Geneseo (7:55.62), and Stevens (7:58.41). The junior varsity 4 also competed in the race and secured a third-place finish in its heat with a time of 7:38.19. Binghamton won the heat by crossing the line in 7:18:47 followed by the Merchant Marine Academy (7:31.75).
Both team advanced to the final race and took two of the top three places. The varsity 4, consisting of

John Imor,
Casey Fuller, and coxswain
Matt Marshall, secured the top spot with a time of 7:50.40. The JV 4, comprised by
James Mulhall, Greg Coppola,
Seamus O'Brien,
Garrett White, and coxswain
Alyssa McNally, collected third place with a time of 8:12.55. Binghamton took second place based on its run of 8:02.10.
The lightweight 4, behind the efforts of

Alyssa McNally, earned second place in its final by registering a time of 7:21.62, just behind Fordham's winning time of 7:14.15. The Stags' lightweight 4B boat ended the race in sixth (8:08.70), an entry that consisted of Chris Lamberti,
Liam Creegan,
Sean Crosby, Max Vazquez, and coxswain Garrett Straus.
The men's novice 4 concluded the afternoon by securing second place in its heat before taking third place in the final. In the first race, the Stags clocked in at 7:19.80 which only trailed Fordham A (7:12.41). In the final, Fairfield crossed the finish line in 8:03.96, just behind Fordham A (7:42.98) and Connecticut (7:45.51).
