With 11 minutes left in the half, Monmouth was awarded a penalty corner and took advantage as Georgia Garden Bachop scored the first goal of the game giving Monmouth a 1-0 lead.  The Hawks would continue to put the pressure on the Stags with multiple shots on goal forcing Zoe Rosen to make some difficult saves.
