FAIRFIELD, Conn. –
Blake Robinson has been named the Head Coach of the Fairfield University Dance Team as announced today by Director of Athletics Gene Doris.
"We are thrilled to announce Blake as the Head Dance Coach at Fairfield University," said
Zach Dayton, Senior Associate Director of Athletics. "Blake will bring a broad range of dance experience to campus which will positively impact dance team performances throughout the basketball season."
Robinson began working with the Fairfield University Dance Team this past February as the Team Choreographer and will now serve as the team's Head Coach. Away from Fairfield, she was a four-year member of George Mason University's Masonette Dance Team during her time as a student at George Mason, and has previously studied with the Julliard School, the American Ballet Theatre, and the Ailey School.
After graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Affairs, she worked with the United Service Organization (USO) in Afghanistan as the Center Manager and Programs Manager. Currently she works as a District Staff Assistant at the U.S. House of Representatives.
