The Broncs enjoyed one of their best offensive games in more than 20 years when they edged Quinnipiac 112-107 at home over the weekend. The 112 points tied the second-best total in school history, also hitting the mark during the 1995-96 and 1960-61 campaigns.  At the center of that offensive performance was Jimmy Taylor, who netted a career-best 37 points. Most of Taylor's scoring came from behind the three-point line, connecting on seven of his eight attempts. Kealen Washington-Ives recorded his second straight double-double with 19 points and 12 assists, both of which represented a personal best.

Rider led by double figures for most of the first half until a late run from Quinnipiac cut the halftime lead to five points. In the second half, both offenses clicked to the tune of 65 points each, keeping the final margin the same as the halftime difference. With his effort, Jimmy Taylor raised his scoring average to a team-best 14.3 points per game.

The Broncs have five student-athletes averaging better than 10 points per game, namely Kahlil Thomas (13.9 ppg), Stevie Jordan (11.5 ppg), Xavier Lundy (10.7 ppg) and Norville Carey (10.5 ppg). Thomas paces Rider on the boards, grabbing nine caroms per game which ranks second in the MAAC. With Thomas' play, Rider leads the conference in rebounding margin (+3.2).

The Stags returned to their winning ways with a 73-53 road win against Marist. It was the second time in the last five games in which Fairfield's defense surrendered less than 60 points in a game, yielding just 49 points against Manhattan earlier in the month. Amadou Sidibe picked up another double-double by tying his career high with 19 points and adding 14 rebounds.

The forward was one of four starters who reached double figures in the game, namely Tyler Nelson (17 points), Jerry Johnson Jr. (16), and Jonathan Kasibabu (10).  The Stags shot better than 50 percent from the floor (.519) and from three-point range (.526) and netted 10 shots from beyond the arc.

Nelson continues to lead both the team and the MAAC in scoring with a 19.3 scoring average. Sidibe raised his rebounding average to 10.1 per game, keeping him ahead of Siena's Brett Bisping who places second with 9.4 rebounds per contest.
