FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Alumni, friends and fans are invited to nominate former Fairfield University student-athletes and coaches for the 2017 Fairfield Athletics Hall of Fame Alumni who have graduated in classes up to and including 2012 are eligible, as are non-alumni who have achieved excellence and distinguished themselves in Fairfield's athletic programs.

The Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 1982. Each year inductees are selected through a nomination process by the Athletic Hall of Fame Committee and honored at an induction ceremony. The Class of 2016 was comprised of Ben Andrews '11 (men's rowing), James Brown '69 (men's basketball – posthumous induction), Michael Bocklet '07 (men's lacrosse), Amy Hanson Ostella '97(women's tennis), Paul Sheehy '85 (men's rugby) and Sabra Wrice '08 (women's basketball).

The 2017 Fairfield University Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place in May 8, 2017 as part of the Athletic Hall of Fame Golf Outing at Brooklawn Country Club in Fairfield.
