NEW YORK – Fairfield University men's basketball alumnus Arthur Kenney '68 will be honored at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, Oct. 4 at the inaugural EuroClassic Basketball Tournament. Tip-off is at 12:00 p.m. and features Italy's Armani Milan – owned by Giorgio Armani – and Maccabi Tel Aviv. Senator Bill Bradley, Albert King and former St. John's head coach Lou Carnesecca will also be honored.

Kenney was integral in the organization of the EuroClassic in the United States and will be honored on Sunday as a local Olimpia Milan legend. He played three years in Milan, winning an Italian Championship, the Italian Cup and two European Cups. His jersey number, 18, was retired by the team in 2013.
