FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield University men's soccer team will host Manhattan College on Wednesday night at Lessing Field, the team's fourth home game of the year. Game time is 7 pm. The Stags have yet to fall at home, posting a 1-0-2 mark, and have not yielded a goal in those 310 minutes of play on their pitch.

Fairfield has not allowed a goal in its last three conference games, defeating Saint Peter's by a 1-0 count and tying both Marist and Monmouth. The team played to a scoreless draw with Monmouth in its last outing, the team's fourth 0-0 decision this season.

Goalkeeper Matt Turner continues to climb up the national statistics, placing fifth in save percentage (.855) and ninth in goals against average (0.50). He has five games with five or more saves and has tallied 46 stops in his 11 starts.

Five different Fairfield student-athletes have a goal this season with Jordan Emsley being the latest addition to the quintet. The freshman posted his first collegiate goal in a 1-0 decision over Saint Peter's last Wednesday.

Manhattan enters the game with a 1-7-1 overall record and a 0-3-0 MAAC mark which includes a 1-0 setback against Siena in its last outing. Alex Coates McDowall has started all nine games this season and has a 1.38 goals against average to his credit. Eugene Heerschap and Daniel Laguna Kennedy each have a goal for the Jaspers this year.
