FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield University men's basketball team will play its only road game of February this Monday night when the Stags head to the Times Union Center for their first meeting with Siena College this season. The two teams will also meet at Webster Bank Arena on February 14.

The Stags will try and build upon their current three-game winning streak which was extended last Friday following a 69-59 victory over Rider University. The win also completed a season sweep of the Broncs. Maurice Barrow paced Fairfield, coming off the bench to score a career-high 25 points with 10 rebounds. He made eight of 13 field goal attempts and all nine of his free throw tries. He became the third Stag to post  two double-doubles this season, joining Keith Matthews and Amadou Sidibe for that distinction.

Barrow helped the Fairfield score 41 of the team's 69 points, as Colin Nickerson added eight points, seven rebounds, and four steals as a reserve. Nickerson's four steals against Rider was the fifth time he accomplished the task this season. In those five games, Nickerson scored 45 points for a 9.0 scoring average. The senior moved up to number four in the MAAC statistical standings with 39 steals in 23 games (1.7 per game).

The Saints have won three of their last four home games including a 66-63 decision over Manhattan in their last outing. Siena, which lost 11 straight games earlier in the year, has won four of its last seven contests and enters tonight's game with a 6-16 overall record and a 4-7 MAAC mark. Rakeem Brookin paced his team against Manhattan, netting a team-best 18 points. Rob Poole secured a team-best 11 rebounds, breaking a run by O.D. Anosike who gathered a team-high rebounding total in the previous nine games.

Anosike ranks first in the MAAC for rebounding with 11.7 per game, the only double-digit total in the MAAC presently. He is also the conference leader with 37.7 minutes player per game. Poole has become one of the conference's top three-point shooters, ranking sixth with 2.1 made per game and eighth in three-point percentage (.392). The Saints will play their next three on the road, ending the trip on February 14 against Fairfield on ESPN3.
