Volleyball Hosts Three MAAC Matches This Week

Fairfield, which has won four straight matches, continues its homestand with three MAAC matches this week. The Stags look to improve on their 5-1 record in MAAC play with contests against Siena, Manhattan, and Saint Peter's at Alumni Hall. The Saints visit on Wednesday night at 7pm while the Jaspers visit on Saturday at 2pm and the Peahens on Sunday at 2pm.

Fairfield (8-8; 5-1 MAAC) vs. Siena (4-9; 2-3 MAAC): The Stags and the Saints will finish out the regular season series on Wednesday night. The two teams last met on September 25 in Loudonville, N.Y. where Fairfield handed Siena a 3-2 loss. In that match, sophomore Rachel Romansky and freshman Camille Coffey each posted double-doubles for the Stags. Romansky finished with 52 assists and 16 digs for her sixth double-double of the season. The setter also posted four kills while tying a career-high with three total blocks. Coffey, meanwhile, tallied her sixth double-double with 18 kills and 15 digs. Junior Brianna Dixion also finished with 18 kills, which included the 800th kill of her career.

Fairfield vs. Manhattan (10-6; 4-1 MAAC): These two teams met three times last season with Fairfield picking up a pair of victories, including a 3-1 win the MAAC Championship quarterfinal. The Jaspers' win last season was their first over the Stags since 2004. Fairfield is 36-6 all-time against Manhattan.

Fairfield vs. Saint Peter's (0-17; 0-6 MAAC): The Peahens and the Stags split last season's series for Saint Peter's first victory against Fairfield since 2004. The Stags are 30-10 all-time against the Peahens.
