The volleyball team, which dropped three straight matches by a score of 3-1 last week, heads to the Hampton Inn & Suites Northern Colorado Classic for four matches. On Friday, the Stags will face South Dakota at 11:30am (MDT) followed by Georgia at 4:30pm (MDT). On Saturday, the Stags will take on the host Bears at 9am (MDT) and finish the tourney up against UMKC at 1:30pm (MDT).

We Meet For the First Time: Fairfield will be meeting South Dakota, Georgia, Northern Colorado, and UMKC for the first time in program history during the Hampton Inn & Suites Northern Colorado Classic.

All-Tournament Team: Rookie Rachel Romansky was named to the Colgate Classic All-Tournament Team after averaging 7.58 assists per set and collecting 14 kills and 13 digs in three matches during her collegiate debut.

Double Digit Kills: Sophomore Brianna Dixion has posted double-digit kills in her first three matches of 2010. In fact, the hitter has notched double-digit kills in seven of the last eight matches she's played as a Stag, dating back to last season. The only time during that span in which she did not hit double figures was in the 2009 MAAC Championship versus Marist when she tallied nine kills.
