The Fairfield University women's basketball team looks to get back on the winning track on Sunday afternoon when it travels to Hempstead, N.Y. to take on Hofstra University.  Fairfield is 4-2 on the year, having fallen 30-29 on Thursday at Villanova, while the Pride are 3-1 but have not played since defeating Providencec 80-76 on November 22.

The game is set for 2 p.m and can be heard live on WVOF 88.5 FM as John Cummings and Maria Conlon call the action.  For additional options for following the game, visit Hofstra's official athletic webpage.

The two teams are meetinf for the ninth time, with the Stags winning three games, but for just the fourth time at the Division I level.  The Pride have won the last two meetings, with a 71-60 win in the last meeting, December 24, 2000.  The Stags last victory came during the program's first Division I campaign, 66-62.
