Fairfield will wrap up its six-match MAAC homestand this weekend as the Stags host defending MAAC Champion Niagara on Saturday and Canisius on Halloween. Both matches start at 2pm at Alumni Hall.
There will be two Stag Cup Showdowns this weekend, on Saturday, the Beach takes on the Townhouses while the Village takes on Campion. On Sunday, Trick or Treat with the Stags as Lucas the Stag will be handing out candy to fans. For fans that can't make it to Alumni Hall,

Fairfield (10-14; 9-3 MAAC) vs. Niagara (17-8; 12-1 MAAC): The Stags and the Purple Eagles last met on October 8 in New York where Niagara edged the Stags in a 3-2 decision. The loss snapped a 20-match winning streak against the Purple Eagles by the Stags. Freshman

Haililani Pokipala each had double-doubles for the Stags while three others were in double figures. Romansky tallied 45 assists and 15 digs, both season highs, along with five kills. Pokipala notched her fifth double-double of the season with a career-high 17 kills and 14 digs. Senior

Hayley Moyer posted 10 kills and two total blocks. Defensively, junior

Home Sweet Home: Fairfield has won its last 16 home matches dating back to last season when the Stags went 10-1. The streak is currently the 10th longest active streak in the nation, tying Fairfield with Michigan and Western Michigan.
