2024: All-MAAC First Team…MAAC All-Championship Team…Preseason All-MAAC…CSC Academic All-District…MAAC All-Academic…Played 121 sets in the middle…Averaged 2.04 kills per set, swinging at a team-best .323…hit .333 or better in 18 matches…Had a team-leading 120 blocks, including 11 in a five-set win at Canisius…Totaled 16 kills on .500 hitting with eight blocks in seven sets during the MAAC Championship…Also had 21 digs and five assists.

2023: All-MAAC Second Team…MAAC Championship MVP… MAAC All-Academic…Appeared in the middle in 96 sets…Piled up 1.81 kills per set on a team-leading .357 hitting percentage…Tallied 104 blocks, including 10 matches with at least five rejections…Hit .300 or better in 18 contests…Had 12 kills in the Oct. 22 win at Niagara…Topped that effort with 13 on .600 hitting in the Nov. 11 win at Saint Peter’s…Hit .429 with 2.63 kills per set and had 11 blocks in the MAAC Championship to earn MVP honors…Had five kills and a block in the NCAA Championship First Round at Purdue.

2022: MAAC All-Rookie Team…Appeared in 69 sets in her rookie campaign…Averaged 1.17 kills on .306 hitting…Led the MAAC with 1.19 blocks per set…had five or more blocks in nine matches, including nine rejections in the win at Iona…Had a season-best seven kills in four MAAC matches, all victories for the Stags.

Before Fairfield: Maya Walker is a 6-1 middle from Stone Mountain, Ga., where she was named Second Team All-County at Decatur High School. She was selected as Most Valuable Player for the Bulldogs in 2021 and Offensive Player of the Year in 2019.
