Biography

2019 Season: Gilligan was one of three goalkeepers on the 2019 roster but did not see any action the Fairfield goal during the campaign.

Before Fairfield: The Suffolk County Goalkeeper of the Year in 2018, Kate Gilligan was also an All-Suffolk County First Team selection for Northport (N.Y.) High School. Gilligan protected the cage and serve as a co-captain for a Northport squad that went 15-4 in 2018, finishing in second place in Suffolk County Class A. The National Honor Society member will enter Fairfield’s Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies in the fall.
