Fairfield University Athletics

Kevin Marino joined the Fairfield Volleyball staff as a volunteer assistant coach prior to the 2023 season. Marino brings more than a decade of coaching experience to the sidelines.

Currently the Boys 17-1 head coach for Northeast Volleyball Club, Marino’s tenure has been highlighted by winning the USAV 17 USA National Championship in the summer of 2022. His squad was only the second Connecticut-based team to win the title. Marino is also a Girls 18-1 assistant coach at NEVBC.

Marino has also been a part of the coaching staff at Joel Barlow High School since 2012. He has been the varsity boys head coach since June of 2019, winning back-to-back state championships in 2021 and 2022. His 2022 squad did not lose a set en route to a 25-0 record and second consecutive unbeaten campaign. Marino previously served as an assistant coach for both the boys and girls varsity program at Joel Barlow.

Marino has also coached at Chelsea Piers Athletic Club and New Canaan High School.
