A three-time All-MAAC performer on the court for the Stags, Caitlin Stapleton ’15 rejoins the Fairfield coaching staff for the 2019 season. Stapleton was also a member of Todd Kress's coaching staff for the Stags' 2016 MAAC Championship campaign.

Stapleton was a First Team All-MAAC honoree in both 2012 and 2014 and earned Second Team All-MAAC recognition in 2011. A starter on the Stags’ 2012 and 2013 MAAC Championship teams, she ranks 11th all-time at Fairfield with 1,146 career kills and eighth in program history with 276 career blocks.

In addition to her prior stint at Fairfield, Stapleton was an assistant coach at Quinnipiac in 2015 and has coached at the club level as an assistant with the CT Juniors 15 team and then as the head coach of the CT Juniors 17 squad.

A native of Milford, Stapleton played scholastically at Jonathan Law High School. She graduated from Fairfield with a degree in Sociology and Anthropology in May of 2015.
