Fairfield University Men’s and Women’s Tennis Head Coach Jeff Bricker added Matt Cook to his coaching staff beginning in the summer of 2018. In his first season at Fairfield, the women's team won the MAAC Championship while the men made their fourth straight appearance in the conference postseason.

Cook joined the Stags followed a successful playing and coaching tenure at Sacred Heart University. He spent nine seasons with the Pioneers, including a stint as Interim Head Coach. He helped lead the Sacred Heart men’s team to the 2011 Northeast Conference Championship and a berth in the NCAA postseason.

Cook is also the Director of Events and Operations for eCamps Inc. in Fairfield. His responsibilities include overseeing the implementation, marketing and execution of more than 150 camps throughout the United States each summer, including GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps, adidas Tennis Camps and Revolution Softball Camps.

As a student-athlete, Cook was the Sacred Heart captain in 2009 as the Pioneers won the first NEC Championship in program history. He graduated with a degree in Psychology in 2009 and earned an MBA from the University of New Haven in 2011.
