Biography

Fairfield’s first-ever triple champion at MAACs as a freshman and repeated as a triple champion as a sophomore … Won two additional MAAC titles as a junior … Holds 20 of 38 possible program records in the 50y free (23.58), the 100y free (51.06), the 200y free (1:51.56), the 100y back (55.62), the 200y back (2:10.14), the 50m free (27.06), the 100m free (58.42), the 200m free (2:07.97), the 400m free (4:31.87), the 100m back (1:05.18), and the 200m back (2:25.09) … Also a part of nine relay records.

2010-11: MAAC Champion (100 freestyle, 100 backstroke) … ECAC qualifier … MAAC Record holder for 100y back (55.62) … Three-peated as the MAAC Champion in the 100 freestyle … Captured the 100 backstroke by smashing a league record andwas a tenth of a second away from her third-straight MAAC title in the 50 free, ultimately placing second in the event … A member of four ECAC qualifying and program record-setting relays which competed at MAACs, including the third place 800 freestyle relay … Set 10 individual and relay recordsduring the season … Did not lose a 50 free race all dual season (8-0) … Won six out of seven 100 freestyle races overall … Captured the 100 freestyle at the Husky Invitational … Captured the 50 and 100 freestyle events at the Harold Anderson Invitational A triple-winner against Boston College and against Marist … Won three individual and a relay event on three separate occasions against Holy Cross, Providence, and Siena … A double-winner against Bryant and against Iona.

2009-10: MAAC Champion (50, 100, 200 freestyle) … ECAC Qualifier … MAAC Swimmer of the Week 11/24 … Set 15 individual and relay records during the course of the season …  Did not lose a 200 free race all season (5-0) … Won three out of four 50 free races entered on the season … Triple winner against Holy Cross and Providence … Double-winner against Marist and Bryant … Also captured the 200 back in double dual versus Fordham/St. Peter’s, the 200 free in double dual against Iona/Loyola, and the 400 free against NJIT … Finished second in the 200 back at the Husky Invitational. 

2008-09: Fairfield University Female Freshman of the Year ... MAAC Champion (50, 100, 200 freestyle) ... MAAC Swimmer of the Week 10/21, 12/9, 2/3 ... ECAC Qualifier ... A part of 14 program records ... At the ECAC Championships finished sixth in the 50 free, seventh in the 100 free, captured the B Final of the 100 back, and was on the 200 free relay that won the B Final ...  Won the 50 free, 100 free, and 100 back at the Harold Anderson Invitational ... Won the 50 fly at the McCarthy Invitational ... Posted 17 individual wins during the dual season ... Was a double-winner against Holy Cross, Siena, Providence, Marist, Manhattan/Bryant and Iona/Loyola.

High School: A highly decorated and accomplished swimmer from Hawaii ... A 10-time NISCA All-American in five events at the historic Punahou School ... Captured 15 gold medals and one silver at the Hawaii state championships going nearly undefeated in four seasons ... As a senior, won state titles in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free relay, and 400 free relay ... A two-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American ... Inducted into the Hawaii High School Athletic Association's Hall of Honor in 2008 ... Also lettered in track and field, qualifying for the state championships in the triple jump.
