2017-18

• Placed third in the 200 SCM butterfly in the Oct. 28 dual meet win over Monmouth
• Won the 100 SCM butterfly and placed third in the 200 SCM butterfly in the Jan. 12 dual meet win over St. Francis Brooklyn
• Placed third in the 200 SCM butterfly in the Jan. 31 dual meet win over Manhattan

2016-17: At the MAAC Championships, set personal bests in the 100 butterfly (1:01.56), 200 butterfly (2:14.89) with a 14^th place finish, and the 1000 freestyle (11:05.32) earning a 17^th place finish. Her time in the 200 ranks as ninth fastest in program history. 

Before Fairfield: Powers was a four year member of the varsity swim team at Hamilton Wenham. She was named the league Swimmer of the Year as a sophomore, the same year her team won the league championship. She served as the team captain her senior season and qualified for the YMCA Long Course Nationals twice.

Personal: Daughter of Jane and Bob Powers... Has two brothers, Ryan (20) and Alec (16)... Major is Nursing.
