2015: MAAC All-Academic Team…Appeared in four games for the Stags and did not allow a goal in her first 71 minutes in the net which spanned three appearances…Made a save in each appearance with a career-high seven stops in 45 minutes of action against Marist (10/10)…Finished with a 2.91 goal against average and a .625 save percentage.

2014: MAAC All-Academic Team... Appeared in one game for the Stags, taking the loss at Central Connecticut (9/21)…Picked up five saves in the contest while allowing three goals.

2013: MAAC All-Academic Team … MAAC Academic Honor Roll ... Appeared in four games, starting two contests. Logged 237:20 in net, posting a 1.52 goals against average. Got the start against Holy Cross, picking up the win after holding the Crusaders to a goal while making a save in 93:04. Stopped four shots against Central Connecticut in 90 minutes of action.

2012: DeVita appeared in two games during her rookie season with the Stags. She made her collegiate debut, with a 15 minute stint, in the Stags non-conference game at Fordham. DeVita made one save in 9:54 of action against MAAC foe Manhattan as she earned a portion of her first career clean sheet.

High School: DeVita earned four varsity letters for Westfield High School. She stopped 53 shots as a senior in leading the Blue Devils to a 13-4-1 record. DeVita was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Lynn LoCastro and Robert DeVita. She has three siblings, Louis, Adria and Paul. DeVita's cousins, Sarah and Tommy DeVita, are track and field athletes at the University of Virginia. Earned Dean's List honors. Major is accounting.

O'BRIEN ON DEVITA: "Sophia continues to grow and develop and has become an experienced Division-I goalkeeper. She will now have the opportunity to become our starting goalkeeper in her senior year, having acted as an understudy for Kathleen Early."
