Biography

Fay and head coach Jim O'Brien have a tie outside of soccer, as both graduated from St. John the Baptist High School in Long Island.

2013: Appeared in 16 games, making five starts in final season as a Stag. Finished the season with two points. Picked up an assist in victory at St. Peter’s. Also assisted on a goal in victory at Canisius.

2012: MAAC Offensive Player of the Week (9/10) ... Fay was the Stags leading scorer as a junior as she finished with 12 points, a career-high. She put the ball in the back of the net a career-high five times, with three of her tallies providing the game-winning score. Fay started her scoring for the year at Holy Cross, scoring both of the Stags goals in the game - with the winner coming in overtime. She netted the decisive tally in a 2-0 win over MAAC foe Niagara and again in the blanking of league reival Iona. Fay's final tally came in the victory over Manhattan in the regular season finale. Both of her assists on the year came in the Stags home win over Canisius.

2011: Fay appeared in 18 games for the Stags as a sophomore, with starts coming in 15 of those contests. She finished the year with four points. Fay scored her lone goal of the game, the only score of the game, in the Stags win over Holy Cross for her first career game-winner. She had assists in the win at Hofstra and Saint Peter's as well.

2010: Fay finished her rookie season as the Stags leading scorer with 10 points. She appeared in all 20 games the team played and earned a starting spot on five occasions. Fay forced overtime versus Georgetown, a squad which advanced to the Elite Eight, with her first collegiate tally in the 40th minute of play. The first multi-stat game of Fay's collegiate career came at Stony Brook on September 16 as she recorded a pair of assists. She touched net in back-to-back conference games in October, adding an insurance goal against Rider and getting the Stags within one tally in the final portion of the home game with Canisius. Two games later Fay tallied the Stags lone goal in a league game at Siena, the first time in her career she scored in a game she started.

High School: Fay earned four varsity letters at St. John the Baptist and served as team captain her final two seasons. She finished her senior campaign with 64 points as she led the Cougars to the New York State Catholic High School Championship. Fay touched net 26 times that season as she earned All-Long Island Second Team honors from Newsday and team MVP accolades. She earned All-League accolades in each of her four years at St. John's. In 2010, Fay was named to the ODP Select Player List. Academically, Fay earned induction to both the National English and National Art Honor societies.

Off The Field: Fay is a Communication major and minors in Psychology and New Media/TV. She is a three-time member of the Department of Athletics 3.0 Club, including all of her junior year, earning her first Dean's List recognition in the Spring 2013.

Personal: Daughter of Mary and Thomas Fay. Her brother Brian played soccer at Centre College in Kentucky.
