2014: All-MAAC First Team…Three-Time MAAC Defensive Player of the Week (9/15, 9/29, 11/3)…Team Co-Captain…Became the second Stags' goalkeeper in history to record 14 wins in a single season…Graduated as the program’s all-time leader in goals against average (0.75). That number was also the 28th best among active Division I goalies during the season…Had seven shutouts in 2014, the seventh most in a single season in Fairfield history…Had a breakout campaign which saw her become one of the top goalies in the conference, surrendering just 0.74 goals per game, the second best mark in the MAAC and 39th in the country…Enjoyed her most memorable moment in her career in the MAAC Semifinals against Niagara, stopping three straight penalty kicks in a shootout to put the Stags in the MAAC Championship Game…Had the best game of her career in the draw against Holy Cross, stopping a personal-best 12 shots, four more than any other game in 2014…Had four saves including a stop against a penalty kick in the home win against Stony Brook…Had eight saves and saw 20 shots in the home shutout win against Rider…Allowed more than one goal just twice on the season and finished with a .810 save percentage...Finished her career with a 16-2-2 home record...Will also go down sixth in the Fairfield record book with 174 career saves.
2013: Started 19 games, logging 1704:13 in net for the Stags. Finished the season with a 0.69 goals against average and had nine shutouts on the season. Stopped 81.7 percent of the shots she faced, making a total of 58 saves on the season. Made a season-high six saves on three occasions: versus Army, Yale, and Monmouth.
2012: MAAC Defensive Player of the Week (9/10) ... Early made her collegiate playing debut in the Stags season opener at New Hampshire, making six saves. She would start all 13 games in which she appeared during the year and played 1,158 minutes. Early finished the campaign with a .855 GAA, 55th in the nation, and stopped 83 percent of the shots she faced, 52, to rank 64th nationally in that category. She stopped a career-best 10 shots versus St. Joseph's at home on August 31 and made four or more saves on eight occasions during the campaign. Early posted five shutouts - Wagner, Hartford, Rider, Siena and Manhattan - and played 45 minutes of the blanking of Manhattan.
2011: Early did not see any game action during her freshman season as part of a talented quartet of keepers, including graduate assistant coach Kelly Boudreau.
High School: Early earned a pair of varsity letters at Kellenberg Memorial, where she missed her senior season due to injury. Over the course of her career she was named team MVP and earned the squad's Most Committed award, while serving as team captain in her final three years of high school.
Personal: Daughter of Maureen and Thomas Early. Her older sister, Elizabeth, played soccer at Holy Cross, and she has a younger sister, Bridget, and two younger brothers; Kevin and Thomas. Major is sociology.
