2017-18
Thomas Nolan stepped onto the court in nine games during the season, serving as a reserve in each of those contests. His first action of the season was a season-high four-minute stint against nationally-ranked Purdue, making one free throw on two attempts. He also saw time at Houston, as well as in five MAAC games. He averaged 1.1 minutes per game (10 minutes in nine appearances).
2016-17
After a redshirt year in 2015-16, Thomas Nolan became involved during the 2016-17 season by gaining entry into 16 games. He did not score in his first five appearances, but hit the scoreboard with six points as a reserve at Iona in early January. One game later, Nolan earned his only start of the season at Monmouth, and responded with a career-high 11 points by making three three-point field goals. He also set up career-bests with four rebounds and two assists in 35 minutes against the Hawks. Nolan scored points in seven games, all of which came over his final 11 appearances of the season. The guard ended the season with 30 points (1.9 ppg), 13 rebounds (0.8 rpg), and eight assists (0.5 apg).
2015-16
Nolan sat out the 2015-16 season as a redshirt student-athlete.
Before Fairfield
Nolan stayed close to home as a graduate of Fairfield Preparatory School. He was an All-State first team selection (Class LL) in 2015 after securing All-State second team accolades as a junior. He is a two-time Connecticut Post All-Star Selection and also collected two berths to the New Haven Register All-Star teams in 2014 and 2015. He secured the SCC Tournament Most Valuable Player award in 2014. With his play, Fairfield Prep posted a 25-2 record and captured their first state LL championship since 1997.Â
