Biography
Before Fairfield: Prophet Johnson scored in double figures in 13 of his 30 appearances at Southern Utah University in 2023-24, including three 20-point outings. He dropped a season-best 24 points against a Utah State team that reached the NCAA Championship Second Round and hung 23 on in-state WAC rival Utah Tech. Johnson finished the campaign averaging 8.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists per contest. Prior to his time at Southern Utah, Johnson was the Freshman of the Year and NWAC All-Region First Team selection at Bellevue College. He ranked second in the conference with 23.8 points per game, highlighted by 50 points on 22-for-28 shooting in a win over Whatcom. Johnson led the Bulldogs to a 23-9 record and a NWAC Championship, earning Tournament MVP laurels.

Johnson attended Wayne High School in Huber Heights, Ohio, just north of Dayton. He was Greater Western Ohio Conference Player of the Year as a senior, averaging over 20 points per game to lead the GWOC and ranking among the league's top 10 in rebounds, assists and steals.
