2016: All-MAAC First Team…MAAC All-Academic… Started all 18 games for Fairfield as a senior… The defender tied for the team lead with 33 groundballs… Was fourth on the team with 15 caused turnovers… Earned her first All-MAAC First Team selection and second All-Academic honor.
2015: All-MAAC Second Team… MAAC All-Academic Team… Laible earned her first All-MAAC honor after being an essential part of the Fairfield defensive unit. She competed in all but one contest, with 18 starts, including the MAAC Championship match and the NCAA first round contest against No. 11 Princeton. Laible picked up 12 ground balls and caused eight turnovers.
2014: Laible started in all 17 contests as a defensive anchor for the Stags. She picked up 13 ground balls and caused 11 turnovers.
2013: Laible served as a defensive reserve for the Stags, appearing in six games during her rookie season. Laible saw action against Sacred Heart, Quinnipiac, Niagara, Iona, Canisius, and Manhattan. Laible picked up one ground ball, grabbed two draw controls, and caused one turnover.
Before Fairfield: Laible comes to Fairfield after lettering four seasons at West Essex High School, where she served as a team captain her senior year. Throughout her career, she led the Knights to 56 victories, the 2009 Group 2 State Championships, two Essex County crowns (2009, 2011), and an SEC Championship in 2009. In her final campaign, she earned All-State, All-Super Essex, SEC American Division First Team, and New Jersey All-Star Team accolades. She also lettered three seasons in field hockey.
Personal: Daughter of Carole and David Laible… Has two siblings, Christine and Daniel… Supports the Wounded Warrior Project, Friends of Jaclyn Foundation, and Support Life Foundation...Majors are Management and Marketing.
